Prize

JIHLS awards an annual prize to recognise the best article written by an author under the age of 35 or within 8 years of completion of their PhD.

The prize is awarded by a Committee made up of members of the Journal’s Editorial Board. With respect to any volume of the JIHLS, the Committee may choose not to award the prize or split it between multiple winners.

Brill provides book vouchers to the winner and the article is made open access for a month.
